After completing his BE in CCE at AUB,
Ali Mansour ’99
is
pursuing a master’s degree in Finance and Economics at
AUB, in addition to working as a technical consultant at
Siemens AG, in downtown Beirut.
Valia Taha ’99
would like to announce her engagement to
Rami Zeidan during the month of June in Beirut. Valia is
still residing in Dubai, UAE.
Dana Taher ’99
and
Karim Mirza ’99
were engaged on
August 19, 2005. Dana is currently completing her master’s
degree in Psychology from AUB. As for Karim he is working
for CCC in Dubai, UAE.
CLASS OF ’00 - ’05
Yahia Beydoun ’00
graduated this December with a mas-
ter’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of
Southern California. During the summer he worked as an
intern at Genesis Microchip in Silicon Valley and he will be
joining them now as a Design Engineer in digital images
and signals processing.
Nadine Haddad ’00
graduated as a dentist from Saint Joseph
University in July 2005, earning the Zareh Ouzounian
award for the “Best Endodontist” of the year. She is pursuing
her specialization in this field at the same university.
Ziad Homsi ’00
graduated from LAU with a BS in
Pharmacy. He is now looking for a job in a pharmaceutical
company in Lebanon or the Gulf.
Genny Khoury ’01
was admitted to the PhD program in
Management and Organizations at the Kellogg School of
Management, Northwestern University.
After studying for three years at the AUB Architectural
School,
Rayyane Tabet ’01
was granted a full scholarship to
attend the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science
and Art in Manhattan, New York, becoming the first
Lebanese student to be accepted at this school to study
under the supervision of famous architects such as Peter
Eisenman, Diana Agrest , Ricardo Scofidio and Lebbeus
Woods. In addition to studying architecture, he is taking a
series of courses in video and installation art. Last year, he
represented Lebanon at the third Biennale of Art in Tunisia
and is now preparing new work to be featured in a collec-
tive expo for emerging talents in New York.
Rany Zakhem ’01
is currently in New York City doing an
AAS degree in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design.
Rani graduated from LAU in June 2005 with a BS in Interior
Design.
Tayma Khalil ’02
graduated in June 2005 from AUB with
high distinction in Biology, and is now pursuing her
Master’s Degree in Human Genetics in McGill, Canada.
Runa Nehme ’02
graduated from AUB in June 2005 with a
BA in Public Administration. She is currently working as a
PR Manager at Green Shield for Medical Services. Runa’s
future projects encompass pursuing her Master’s Degree in
Human Resources.
Sherine Tabsh ’02
graduated last spring from the American
University of Beirut with a bachelor's degree in Business
Administration, emphasis in Marketing.
Mohamad Saad ’03
is currently in his senior year in Graphic
Design at the Art Institute of California – San Diego. He
recently acquired an internship position with Mires Design
for Brands, San Diego’s top brand design agency. He is also
involved with logos and packaging for an athletics line for
Wal-Mart and in producing a corporate citizenship report
for Exxon Mobil. Other projects include brochures and
mailers for Intel. Mohamad has also been assigned as
“Student President” of the American Institute of Graphic Arts
(AIGA) student group at the Art Institute. He is also in the
2006 National Student Advertising Competition that is held
yearly by the American Advertising Federation. For this he
has been assigned “Head of the Creative Team” that is
working alongside marketing, media, copyrighting, and
PR/promotions teams representing the Art Institute of
California – San Diego.
Kareen Jaber ’04
has completed her freshman year in AUB.
She is now in the UK, studying Business Management at
King's College, and planning to seek a global company for
training experience.
Sabine Bachian ’05
is currently studying in Boston at
Northeastern University as a Communications and
Economics major.
Nisrine Chamseddine ’05
is currently studying Clinical
Psychology at the Saint Joseph University in Beirut.
Zeina Fawaz ’05
is studying Computer Animation and
Special Effects at the University of Bradford in the UK
George Mardelli ’05
is studying Electrical Engineering at
AUB.
Amer Tamim ’05
is currently majoring in Economics at
McGill University, in Montreal, Canada. He expects to grad-
uate in two years.
