Samer Beidas ’80
and his wife Abir are happy to announce
the birth of their baby boy Jad.
Kinda Jazzar ’80
left Beirut in 1993 for Jeddah, and last year
moved to Ottawa, Canada. She married Farid Aita and they
are blessed with four kids: Nour, Karim, Tarek and Rachad.

Talal El-Khalil ’80
and
Roula Abou Dargham ’88
were
recently blessed with a new baby boy they named Sany. The
El-Khalils are proud parents of music composer Mira (8
years) and hip hop dancer Nour-Talal (3 years). They can be

Rami Abuhamdeh ’81
and his wife Dania Hijazi are happy
to announce the birth of their baby girl Tala on April 9,
2003. The Abuhamdeh’s reside in Potomac Falls, Virginia,
USA.
Walid Alami ’81
resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife
Sahar Fawaz and his two children Noor and Jad. He is a
practicing interventional cardiologist.
Fadi Ismail ’81
graduated from AUB with a BE in Electrical
Engineering. He is living in Abu Dhabi with his family
where he works with IBM in the computer and Information
Technology field.
Rana Ayoub ’83
is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing
at a computer software & hardware company. She is mar-
ried and has two children, Alex and Geena. They all live in
Gainesville, Florida.
May Hinnawi ’83
and
Maher Rayes ’82
are blessed with a
3-year-old baby girl named Tala, and a 5-month-old baby
boy named Rami. The Rayes family has been living in Dubai
for the past 4 years.
Mazen Haddad ’84
has accepted a Senior Project Manager
position in a rapidly growing Canadian internet marketing
company called Blast Radius based in Vancouver. He will
be managing multi-million dollar projects and working out
of the Toronto office with customers such as Air Canada,
BMW, Nintendo, and Nike.
Khaled Gherzeddine ’85
is married to
Rana Nahas ’86.
They now live in Geneva with their two children, where
Khaled works in the banking industry.
Samer Kaissi ’85
and his family have recently settled in
Beirut, where Samer works as Regional Director for
Emerging Markets with DHL. Samer and his wife were liv-
ing in Canada before moving to Beirut. They are blessed
with two boys.
Nabil Saad ’85
and Reem Yunis tied the knot on August 8,
2003, in Tiburon, California. Reem is a postdoctoral
research fellow in the Department of Animal Physiology at
University of California at Davis, while Nabil works as a
Design Engineer in the R&D department for Stanford
Research Systems. The happy couple is residing in the San
Francisco Bay area.
Mohamad Zgheib ’85
graduated from Concordia University
in Montreal, Canada, where he majored in software engi-
neering. After eleven years working for the Engineering
Software Company, Mohamad moved to Kuwait, where he
is team leader in the Petroleum Services Company (ATME).
Mohamad is married and is blessed with two daughters,
Reem and Zeina.
Noha Bakri ’86
is the Manager of the HSBS branch in
Mazraa, Beirut. Noha is married and is blessed with three
boys.
Lyn Khalidy ’86
is proud to announce the birth of her sec-
ond child, Talal, on April 28, 2003.
Yasser Kaaki ’88
graduated from AUB in 1993 with a
Bachelor’s degree in architecture. He joined Saudi Diyar
Consultants in 1993, designing and managing projects in
Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco and the UK. He is
married to Lotf Kalash and they have two children: Rafic, 5
years old, and Sarah, 2 years old.
Dr. Bashar Al-Khalili ’88
recently passed the Board exami-
nation in Pediatric Oral Surgery. In January, he joined the
faculty staff at Karolinska Institute while still working in
Eastman Institute as Senior Consultant in Pediatric Oral &
Maxillofacial surgery. He resides in Stockholm, Sweden.
Ramzi Sukkar ’88
received his B.E. in Computer and
Communications Engineering (CCE) from AUB in 1992. He
is today working at Ericsson as Manager for Radio Network
Design in Lebanon.
Omar Bachour ’89
has been living in the UK for six years;
he completed his postgraduate degree and is working as a
geotechnical engineer.
