Ibrahim G. Eid ’82
received his M.D. from AUB in 1989. He is
currently a vascular surgeon in Massachusetts in the United
States. Ibrahim is married to Lara Atallah, and they have two
daughters, Maya and Lea.
Rula’84 and Hani ’83 Asfour
are happy to announce the birth
of a baby boy named Raja born in February 2003 in Boston.
Raja has two sisters Nadia (nine years), and Maia (five years).
Sany Zein ’83
and
Leila Mishalani ’85
have been married since
1990; they have two boys, Sebastian Ramsey (nine years) and
Leonard Samer (six years). Sany has been living in Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada since 1987. He is the Vice President
of Hamilton Associates, an engineering consulting company.
Sany also coaches the minor soccer teams of both his boys.
Amjad Kaissi ’85
is currently a director at Ocean Freight, General
Transportation Services, in Beirut. He and his wife Dania had a
second child on June 13, 2003, a baby boy named Mohammad.
Yasmina, his sister, was born on September 11, 2001.
Abdul-Kader Charamand ’85
and Randa Jamil were blessed
with the birth of a baby boy, Wahib, born on October 6, 2003.
Judy has a little brother now.
Farid Fakherddin ’85
and his wife Inas Khodr are happy to
announce the birth of their second baby, a girl they named
Rayya. Afif, their first child has joined the nursery at IC this year.
Omar Barakat ’85
and his wife Alia Bahri are happy to
announce the birth of their baby boy Mohammad on the day of
their ninth wedding anniversary, August 22, 2003.
Rabi’ Jarmakani ’84
is currently on the Board of Directors of
the American International School in Lagos, Nigeria. He now
lives in Beirut.
Nadim Kassir ’86
moved to the United States after graduating
from IC. He is currently working with a financial institution in
Boston, and he and his wife Mirna are expecting their first baby
in December.
Maya Nasrallah Al Zayek ’86
and her husband Wajih are proud
to announce the birth of a brother to Leah, Assaad, born on
October 15, 2003
Ousamah Nuwayhid ’88
and his wife Beatrice are happy to
announce the birth of their baby girl Yasmeena-Adele, born on
September 8, 2003 in New York .
Mohammad Hatab ’88
and Janane Beydoun celebrated their
wedding on July 31st at the Sheraton Coral Beach Hotel in
Beirut. The couple honeymooned in Tahiti, and is currently resid-
ing in Dubai where Mohammad has been living and running his
business since 1993.
Sawsane Soubra ’89
and her husband Claude Pierret are
happy to announce the birth of a sister to Daniel (three years),
Nathalie who was born on July 2003 in Munich. The family has
been living in Munich since 1999.
After completing his MBA at Cornell University in May 2003,
Wissam Saadi ’89
moved from New York to Zurich to join
Adveq, a leading investment management company in
Switzerland focusing on Private Equity investments.

CLASS OF ’90 - ’99
Walid Tabanji ’90
and Nesreene Srouji were married at Saint
Symphorien le Château, France on June 28, 2003. The wedding
was followed by a cocktail reception in the gardens of Château
d’Esclimont and then by a dinner in La Salle des Trophées.
Lucy Salem Rasi ’90
and her husband Karim are thrilled to
share the news of the birth of their first baby, a lovely girl named
Rhaya, born on August 7, 2003.
Sana M. Ghulmiyyah ’90
and Joe Naoum were married on July
31, 2003. Sana and Joe celebrated their wedding at BIEL, and
are currently living in Galveston, Texas.
Mazen Mneimneh ’91
is working as a structural engineer at
Biggs Cardosa Associates in San Jose, California.
Rula Haddad Kalifa ’91
and her husband Mark are the proud
parents of a baby boy they named Christian, born in Chicago on
June 23, 2003.
Anthony Elie Kurban ’91
and his wife Cybele are proud to
announce the birth of their first baby, a lovely girl named Axel
born on July 21, 2003.
Afaf Zeidan ’91
and Mohammad Ghaddar would like to
announce the arrival of their first baby, a boy they named Ramzi,
born on August 5, 2003.
Zein Mattar ’92
is in London working with Merrill Lynch
International Bank Ltd., and is responsible for regional sales and
marketing/global private client.
Nahil Tannir Mirza ’92
and her husband Samir are proud to
announce the birth of their second daughter, Marla, born on
June 3, 2003. Her sister Sabine, three years old, will be joining
IC this fall.
Nadine Temsah ’93
and
Wissam Itani ’81
tied the knot on
August 12, 2003; a reception was held at Deir El Kala’a Country
Club. They honeymooned in Spain, and will be living in Khobar.
Fatima Hussein ’93
is married to Mohammad Yamout, and has
two sons, Ahmad (four years) and Adam (three months). They all
live in Beirut and Fatima works at Jamaleddine Law Firm as a
lawyer and legal consultant.
Mustapha El Habbal ’94
was married to Hiba Labban. He
graduated from AUB with a CCE degree in 1998; he then
obtained his M.S. in Computer Science from California State
University in Long Beach. The couple moved from California to
Boston, Massachusetts, where Mustapha works as senior soft-
ware engineer at Cisco Systems.

was married to Walid Naja on July 26, 2003.
