Outstanding Results for the 2005 Governmental
Examination
- All IC students from both campuses passed the Lebanese
Brevet examination, with 70% achieving honors.
- All IC graduates, with the exception of one student, passed
the Lebanese Baccalaureate examination, with IC student
Tamima Hamadeh (English Humanities) scoring among the
top 10 performers in Beirut.
- All IC graduates in the International Baccalaureate (IB)
were successful, attaining the highest scores since the pro-
gram was introduced at IC.
- French
Baccalaureate results
were outstanding this
year, with 87% of
students attaining
honors. The highest
score in the Scientific
Option for all of
Lebanon was
obtained by IC stu-
dent Dany Matar
(with a 19.2 score),
and the second high-
est in Lebanon by IC
student Sabine
Khater. First place in
the Humanities
Option for all of
Lebanon went to IC
student Sara Murad.

2005 Graduates Celebrate Miss Torch,
Mr.Graduate, and Prom Night
Those nights of celebration will forever remain in the mem-
ories of our students, especially Miss Torch Tina Yamout
(Life Science), and Mr. Graduate Ralph Debbas (TES). The
Miss Torch pageant was held together with Prom Night at
the Phoenicia Hotel on July 5, and attended by over 300
students, administrators, and teachers. The evening ended
with the announcement of Prom Queen Miss Kim Issa (TES),
and Prom King Mr. Ali Safieddine (ES).
The winners of Miss Torch and Mr. Graduate pageant surrounded
