This year’s ICAA gala dinner was marked by
a casual dress code, an open Lebanese buffet,
and patriotic music. On June 14, 2005, at 8
pm, 500 alumni and friends gathered at the
outdoors Terrasse Du Pavillion Royal. Along
with delicious Lebanese cuisine, guests were
treated to the mellifluous sounds of violinist
Mr. Jihad Akl and his band, followed by
Mohammed Masalkhi and four musicians.
Other performances included those of the IC
choir, which sang standards by Fayrouz, Julia
Boutros, and many others. Of course, the
“Sahryeh” could not have been complete
without the traditional Lebanese Dabkeh, per-
formed by ten dancers! Thank you IC Alumni
Association for such a wonderful night!
